The staff were great, I arrived early and they asked me if I wanted breakfast and gave me orange juice whilst my room was prepared - all at no further cost. The room was perfect, clean, complimentary fruit everyday, laptop and wifi in the room and cable tv. Everything was good.
The room was a double room and for 1 person the size of the room was perfect but for 2 people it may be a tight squeeze. Also 6 flights of stairs, no lift but the staff carried my bags which wasnt a problem. Also, the manager (male) on night shift was lazy and not willing to accomodate the guests, he needs to pull his socks up as the rest of the staff were superb.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter. I loved that the hotel was tucked away in a quiet alley. The staff went beyond expectations, helping me with airport transfers and local recommendations. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, equipped with a mini-bar and a tv. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast with a delicious mix of both local dishes and Western options like pho and pancakes. The bathroom could use an upgrade. It had some plumbing issues, and I noticed the toilet was prone to clogging. The Wi-Fi was also slower than I hoped. Still, the friendly atmosphere and helpful staff were nice.

The Elite is the best value for money hotel we stayed in during our 3 week holiday travelling throughout Vietnam and up there as one of the best hotels we have stayed at generally. The staff were beautiful, friendly and excellent and the room, location and breakfasts were great. After walking around a hot Hanoi, it was wonderful for us to just spend the afternoon relaxing in our wonderful room watching movies on the in- hotel entertainment system, but not before the staff would provide us with a refreshing glass of water as soon as we got back to the hotel. We used the Elite as a base, returning there on 3 separate occasions, and the staff were very helpful in allowing us to check in early if at all possible or to simply relax in their reception area. The staff were also very helpful in organising a tour for us and in assisting us with tours we organised ourselves. We have no hesitation in saying that we would recommend the Elite to anyone going to Hanoi, and that we would definitely stay there again.
There is no lift to the upper floors in the hotel. This might be an issue for infirm guests. It certainly was not an issue for us, but we mention it in case it is an issue for others who have difficulty climbing stairs.

The room was decent sized with flower petals on the bed and good showers plus a comfortable bed and safety measures included safe. The breakfast with nice options to choose from and omlet and served cheerfully was absolutely fantastic, had so much to choose from.

The staff was helpful with services like airport transfer and sim card installation.
My experience was overshadowed by significant issues. The bathroom was poorly maintained, with a toilet that barely flushed and a shower floor that felt odd due to wooden decking. There was a persistent smell of mold in the room, concerning for health. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing.

5 star service. Staff is always looking to be helpful. Clean modern rooms, free wi-fi and a laptop provided, tons of movies. Location is in Old Quarter. 10+ choices for breakfast, all very well prepared. In U.S., this would be a $200/night hotel.
No elevator, and there are only 2 rooms per floor so chances you're getting a room on first or second floor aren't great. Up to 6 floors. Be prepared to walk up stairs!

The rooms, while showing their age, are properly maintained with a good layout was good. Breakfast features a range of tasty options, from pho to pancakes, giving guests plenty to enjoy each morning.
An unpleasant smell permeated throughout the hotel, particularly in the rooms where mold appeared to be an issue. Bathroom conditions fell short, with toilets that barely flushed and visible signs of wear on towels and other linens.

The staff were second to none. Incredibly friendly, welcoming & helpful. They always addressed us by name & nothing seemed like too much trouble. Was sorry to leave! Would highly recommend this small, friendly hotel to anyone. The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, modern & well equipped with a laptop & free wifi making onward travel arrangements etc so much easier. This hotel is a true haven in hectic Hanoi!

The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home with their helpful recommendations and smiles.
The bathroom facilities could use some maintenance, as there was a noticeably persistent smell that detracted from the overall experience.

Fantastic quiet location , knowledgeable and helpful staff who were very helpful with bookings for Halong Bay and the Water Puppet Theatre. Computer/Internet access in our room.
